The UK Social Policy Association (SPA) advances the role of social policy research within policymaking, practice and wider public debates. To further facilitate this we are offering up to £500 funding to support for policy round table events throughout 2016. There is no thematic restriction other than clear social policy relevance, and meetings may cover a range of topics pertinent to policymakers, practitioners, academics and the general public. These events can be held across the UK and hosted either by universities, government departments and public institutions. Senior civil servants, politicians, policymakers, and relevant select committee members should be invited along with social policy academics with particular research specialisms in the round table theme, as well as leading think tanks, practitioners and other policy groups.
